Ben Akwuebu Returns To Austria For Charity Matches With A Big Bang

 Ben Akwuegbu, the former Super Eagles striker, made a triumphant return to Austria, featuring in a charity game with his former club Sturm Graz. The event, held from December 27 to 30, 2025, brought together top European teams, including Bayern Munich and Rapid Wien, for a four-day tournament.

Cerutti Media learnt that Akwuegbu, affectionately known as the "Austria Bomber," expressed excitement about reuniting with fans in Graz, where he enjoyed memorable moments. He hopes to relive his form when he won the league title, FA Cup, and Super Cup with the club.

The charity tournament aimed to support local initiatives and featured notable players like Kulovits, Bazina, and Junuzović. Sturm Graz's recent form has been impressive, with a 2-1 win against Grazer AK 1902 on December 7, 2025.
