SELF OPINION....Of Uduaghan, Inconsequential Old Age Postings, and the Rest of Us

"Age is not a number, it's a badge of honor earned."- Jacky Kennedy Onassis ( America's one time First Lady )

          By Mike Cerutti Osagie

I will not be modest with the truth: I am not, and has never been, one of Delta state ex Governor Emmanuel Eweka Uduagha's "paid" media consultants or his PR agent.

But I am a strong admirer of his person. During his 60th birthday, I produced an online massive book on him (link attached... https://www.worldindustryleaders.com/2014/10/enter-cerutti-group-governor-uduaghans.html )

I never met him in person, but a mutual friend showed him my work on him , and he called me on the phone. We were to meet in his Ikoyi home, but the appointment was cancelled in view of urgent trip to London.

However, he was nice to tag my work on him as "wao, just waoo" and sent a message of thank you through our mutual friend.

Today, on instinct as a professional wordsmith and humanitarian, I want to address the several mockeries about Uduagha's old age in several online platforms

This is insulting! Old age is a blessing; we will all get old. Ageing brings wisdom, experience, and a deeper understanding of life. It's a privilege to grow old, and we must celebrate it!

Uduagha and his lovely wife deserve love, respect, and admiration – not insults. Let's focus on celebrating their life, achievements, and the legacy they've built. Mocking old age is like mocking the journey of life itself.

Let's be kind and respectful. The benefits of ageing are countless: wisdom, patience, and a broader perspective on life. Let's focus on these positives.

Instead of mocking, let's learn from the elderly. Their stories, experiences, and wisdom can guide us. Ageing is a natural part of life; let's embrace it with grace and gratitude.

Let's shift our focus to celebrating milestones and the value older folks bring to our lives.Uduagha's life is a testament to resilience and dedication. Let's appreciate his contributions.

To everyone, let's spread love, kindness, and respect – regardless of age. Old age is a blessing; let's honor it.

Ageing is a journey we all embark on; let's support each other through it. Uduagha's achievements speak for themselves: a life well-lived, impactful, and inspiring. Let's celebrate this!

Let's focus on the positives of ageing and show appreciation for our elders. They're a wealth of knowledge and experience.

We should be grateful for the contributions of older folks like Uduagha. Let's show them love and respect.

Let's make a conscious effort to honor and celebrate old age, rather than mock it. It's a privilege to grow old.

~ God bless the ex Governor and his wife Roli in their advanced age
