London-Based Nigerian Bose Adebayo Calls for Support of Nigeria’s First Female Governor

In a passionate appeal from London, Nigerian advocate Bose Adebayo is urging Nigerians to rally behind Chief Mrs. Atinuke Okeya-Omolayo, a trailblazing candidate aspiring to become Ekiti State’s first female governor. Marking Nigeria’s 65th anniversary, Bose described it as “pathetic” that the country has yet to elect a female governor, with only temporary acting female governors having served. Her call for support highlights the critical need for gender inclusivity in Nigerian politics.

Bose Adebayo, herself a proud Nigerian living in the UK, emphasized the historic significance of Mrs. Okeya-Omolayo’s candidacy. She believes that backing a female governor isn’t just about representation but about unleashing the untapped potential of Nigerian women in leadership. “It’s time to shatter the glass ceiling in Nigerian politics,” Bose declared, encouraging citizens to embrace progressive change.

Chief Mrs. Atinuke Okeya-Omolayo’s inspiring story is a powerful testament to her readiness to lead. Born in Emure-Ekiti to a distinguished family, she has built an impressive educational foundation, including studies in London at Lewisham College and London South Bank University. Her degrees in Business, Finance, Nursing, and Social Work equip her with a diverse skill set to serve her people effectively.

Her career as a dedicated social worker in London has positively impacted many lives, showcasing her passion for community service. This global perspective and commitment to social welfare uniquely position her to bring compassionate and effective governance to Ekiti State.

Since 1999, Mrs. Okeya-Omolayo has been a loyal and active member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), consistently contributing to the party’s growth at all levels. Her political journey reflects her unwavering dedication to progress and her vision for a more inclusive and prosperous Nigeria.

Beyond politics, Atinuke is a devoted mother of three, balancing family life with community service. Her story embodies resilience and leadership, inspiring women across Nigeria to pursue their dreams and contribute to societal development.

Bose Adebayo’s call to action is clear: Nigerians must unite in support of Chief Mrs. Atinuke Okeya-Omolayo to make history by electing the first female governor in Nigeria’s 65 years. This moment is about more than politics; it is about empowering women, advancing democracy, and building a brighter future for all Nigerians.
