CHIDI OKOYE BOOKS ENTERPRISE PRESENTS THE LAUNCH OF TWO GROUNDBREAKING CRIME NOVELS

Lagos, Nigeria - Chidi Okoye Books Enterprise, in partnership with Solomon Arase and Associates, is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of two thought-provoking crime novels, "The Syndicate Affairs" and "Checkmate". The event will take place on October 10, 2025, at the Grand Ballroom of the Oriental Hotel.


These novels, penned by a serving senior police officer, offer a unique perspective on the challenges of crime and the law in Nigeria. "The Syndicate Affairs" sheds light on the complexities of police work, while "Checkmate" explores the laws of Lagos State through a compelling narrative.







The book launch will feature distinguished guests, including His Excellency Goodluck Ebere Jonathan, former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Executive Governor of Lagos State; and IGP Kayode Egbetokun, Inspector General of Police.

"We believe that these books will make a significant contribution to the national conversation on crime and justice," said the authors. "We invite everyone to join us for this momentous occasion and to learn more about the importance of being informed about the law."

The event will include guest speakers and a book review by Prof. Olugbenga Akingbehin, Professor of Public Law and Criminology at the University of Lagos.
