I’m Abhishek Masapalli, and for me, modeling started as a way to express discipline and confidence through visual storytelling. My background in fitness shaped everything — from my posture to my mindset. Training taught me patience, control, and focus. It’s more than just looking fit; it’s about presence, body language, and how I connect strength with expression. Every step on the runway feels like the result of hours of discipline and belief in myself

Working with Dhabri Khenchy has been one of the most inspiring experiences in my career. He’s a visionary who blends culture, character, and creativity into fashion. What I admire most about him is how he turns individuality into design — he doesn’t just create clothes, he creates stories. His perspective pushes me to go deeper into my craft and express emotion through every outfit I wear

3️⃣ Your modeling style has been noted for its cinematic flair — can you tell us more about how your passion for acting and filmmaking impacts your approach to modeling?

Acting and filmmaking are the core of who I am. I bring that cinematic emotion into every frame. When I model, I don’t just pose — I perform. I imagine there’s a story behind every look, every light, every movement. That mindset helps me connect with the camera and the audience emotionally. Modeling, for me, is like capturing a silent scene from a movie — where my expression speaks more than words.

4️⃣ What do you believe are the key elements that make African fashion unique, and how do you see your partnership with Dhabri Khenchy contributing to its global recognition?

African fashion is powerful because it’s real — full of emotion, culture, and fearless creativity. Every piece has a heartbeat; it represents pride, identity, and storytelling. Through my partnership with Dhabri Khenchy, I want to help carry that authenticity to a global audience. Fashion becomes stronger when cultures connect, and I’m proud to be part of that bridge between African design and international recognition

5️⃣ Walking the runway at New York Fashion Week is a significant milestone — what was going through your mind during that experience, and how did it feel to represent African fashion on such a prestigious platform?

It was honestly one of the most unforgettable moments of my life. Standing backstage, I told myself — “You’ve worked for this, now live it.” When I stepped onto that runway, I wasn’t just walking; I was representing a culture, a designer, and a part of myself. To represent African fashion at New York Fashion Week felt powerful. It showed that art and style can connect people from completely different worlds.

6️⃣ How do you balance conveying emotion and strength through your poses, and what tips would you give to aspiring models looking to develop their own style?

It’s all about presence. I think of every shoot as a scene — strength comes from the body, emotion from the eyes. When both align, the picture breathes life. My advice to aspiring models: don’t just copy — understand the feeling behind the shot. Build confidence through discipline, study how light falls on you, and let your own story shape your expression. Style isn’t about perfection — it’s about honesty.

7️⃣ Looking ahead, what are your goals and aspirations for your career as a model and ambassador for Dhabri Khenchy’s brand, and how do you envision your partnership evolving in the future?

My vision is to keep growing — as a model, actor, and creative mind. I see my journey with Dhabri Khenchy’s brand becoming something much bigger — something that inspires collaboration across cultures. I want to continue representing his vision on international platforms and one day blend my cinematic storytelling with fashion on screen. Every step I take now is part of that dream — and I’m giving it everything I have
