In his words " Buying your first property can be an exciting and significant milestone in your life. Here are some tips I can give  to help  navigate the process:

1. *Save for a down payment*: Start by saving for a down payment, which is typically a percentage of the property's purchase price. The larger your down payment, the lower your mortgage payments will be. Aim to save at least 20% of the property's value to avoid private mortgage insurance (PMI) costs

2.  *Determine your budget*: Before starting your property search, assess your financial situation and determine how much you can afford to spend on a property. Consider factors such as your income, expenses, and future financial goals. It's important to be realistic and avoid stretching your budget too thin.

3. *Get pre-approved for a mortgage*: Before you start house hunting, consider getting pre-approved for a mortgage. This will give you a clear idea of how much you can borrow and help you narrow down your property search. Pre-approval also demonstrates to sellers that you are a serious buyer.

4:*Work with a real estate agent*: Consider working with a reputable real estate agent who specializes in working with first-time buyers. They can guide you through the process, help you find suitable properties, and negotiate on your behalf. A knowledgeable agent can provide valuable insights and advice throughout the homebuying journey.

5. *Research the market*: Take the time to research the real estate market in the area where you want to buy. Look at recent sales data, property prices, and market trends. This information will help you make informed decisions and understand the value of the properties you're interested in.

6: *Consider additional costs*: Remember that buying a property involves more than just the purchase price. Factor in additional costs such as closing costs, property taxes, homeowners insurance, and maintenance expenses. It's important to budget for these expenses to ensure you can comfortably afford homeownership.

#Aside these points, Chief Spiff has a word of Faith for those yet to own their homes..

Remember, buying your first property is a significant financial decision. Take your time, do your research, and seek advice from professionals to ensure a smooth and successful homebuying experience and chief of all, even though you may be broke today ,keep working hard, have faith in God for a big break or destiny helpers to come your way, don't burn the money on fast lane life, save save in reputable bank, they can be of great help ,my first house in Abuja a bank supported me in no small way because they saw my efforts "
