As the D-day to the forthcoming Presidential election draws nearer, different Nigerians  globally   have continued to air their views as per the best hand to lead Nigeria to the much prayed for bright future


Yesterday we caught up with a new breed politician Alhaja Rakiya Tanko, a prominent personality from the North and a PDP women's leader in  ikoyi obalande , who resides and also leads the women of  dodan barrack obalande also








She gave few reasons why Nigerians must vote for former vice president Alhaji Abubakar Atiku GCON


In her words ...

" I am not speaking because I am in his party PDP, I stand on truth. Look at all the candidates what do you see?

" For me I think Atiku would be best to rule the country because he would make the country better for us


" He is tested and knows about real Governance, he will be led by the dictate of his conscience


" His desire is to unite Nigeria, reduce the high rate of unemployment, end the notorious insurgency of boko Haram / all those bandit's tormenting innocent Nigerians and lead out economy back to the top in Africa that we rightly belong" she assured




Asked what led her into politics in the first place, she opined

" I  chose  life in politics because of my desire to uplift the poor masses  because  I feel for the people, ,my involvement in politics will help me reach out to the people


" Beyond that  I love and enjoy politicking deep down my heart and that is the job I choose for my self and is because I want to be some one responsible in the community and I will keep pushing and preaching one Nigeria and I know under Atiku Nigerians will smile again for the present hardship is too intense on our people" she revealed
