History Made....As Akwa Ibom state bagged Vanguard Governor of the year 2022.
In more than seven years, udom Emmanuel has kept Akwa Ibom afloat through massive investment in Agriculture, healthcare, Education, industrialization, and infrastructure. Udom investment in Aviation industry, turn out to be a commercial success, and renewed hope in ability of states to generate wealth. Established in 2019, Ibom Air has grown in size and operation to dominate the Nation's airspace, with 99.8 percent schedule reliability and 96 percent on - time performance.
Udom Emmanuel has created a new model in Leadership with the establishment of several industries, such as a syringe factory, Metering Company, flour mills company, coconut virgin oil refinary, plywood manufacturing company, power substation, rice mills, and cassava processing mills.
Udom's desire to reinvent Akwa Ibom and make it attractive not only to the investment community but also to the common man has led to the construction of several roads and bridges. Under his watch , Akwa Ibom has consistently raised the performance bar in key areas, which attest to his ability think outside the box-a rate quality in the Leadership of state state government in Nigeria.
These and many more earned Governor udom Emmanuel the prestigious award of Vanguard's Governor of the year 2022 for visionary Leadership.
When his citation was read by the organizers and it's achievement were displayed on the screen, The Akwa Ibom state community in Lagos team led by the president, prince Felix udo and Cornell udofia, Lagos Liason officer Akparawa Michael Ekpeyong were very happy with Jubilation because of his giant stride in keeping the state safe and peaceful..
The Secretary to The State Government Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem who represented him at the award ceremony thank, Vanguard Newspaper for honoring him and pledge his continuous support in keeping the state peaceful with more dividend of democracy.
