GHANA's SUPERMAN ! Honorable F.Opare-Ansah donates 35,000$ worth of Emergency Goods and Champion Social Distancing, All while Backing President Akufo Addo's Tough Measures to Tackle the Spread of Coronavirus in Ghana!

Across the globe, people are grappling with the growing COVID-19 pandemic.
Deaths due to the coronavirus have soared in Italy as hospitals try to manage high demands and lack of supplies. In the U.S., panic levels are high, with health officials advising Americans to practice social distancing and take extra precautions to protect their health. Yet all the way in Ghana, A superhero, Philanthropist Honorable Opare-Ansah, has been crown Superman of Ghana, for giving back to his people selflessly, right in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak.

Thankfully, the pandemic hasn’t stopped him from giving back to his communities and inspiring us all in these scary times. From acts of kindness to major donations that will help those who are sick and/or out of work, including Widows and Students, without forgetting the general population, all to protect vulnerable, immunocompromised individuals.

He urged Ghanaians to help Government contain the spread of Coronavirus Pandemic to avoid total lockdown of the country.
He explained that, many people are apprehensive about lockdown announced by President in parts of the country but still apathetic to the preventive protocols of COVID-19.
Ghana has recorded 313 cases of Coronavirus with 6 deaths as at April 7, 2020.
President of Ghana Akufo Addo on March 27, 2020, announced a partial lockdown of the Nation’s Capital-Accra and Parts of Greater Kumasi for two weeks as an enhanced measure to prevent increasing community spread having closed down all Borders -Land, sea and Air spaces. Government also imposed mandatory 14 days quarantine for all returnees.
According Hon. Opare Ansah, President Akufo Addo will have no option than to lockdown the entire country should the virus spread rapidly across all regions, therefore, advised Ghanaians to play their parts to help curb the pandemic.
As we speak if the regional cases rise rapidly, President Akufo Addo has no option than to lockdown Eastern Region, lockdown Central Region, lockdown all the other regions just as he has lockdown Greater and Accra and Kumasi so we all have the responsibility to help contain this pandemic and reduce the spread to avoid total lockdown which will affect everyone.”
The Lawmaker said this when he launched a COVID-19 project dubbed ‘Suhum MPs Support Projects’ in his quest to complement government effort towards fighting the deadly coronavirus.
The MP distributed items such as Poly tanks, Veronica buckets, Alcohol-based hand sanitizers, spraying machines, tissue papers among others worth GH¢200,000 (35,000$).
He also donated ten(10) Personal Protective Equipment, PPEs, to the Municipal Health Directorate.

He pleaded with the constituents not to abuse social interventions announced by government to cushion Ghanaians during the pandemic.
I am pleading with you not to abuse interventions rolled by our President Akufo Addo to Cushion Ghanaians in this difficult time. President says water is free for three months that doesn’t mean we should waste water because it’s free. We must also respect every directive of the President on combating COVID-19 to the later. The Coronavirus Pandemic should not be capitalized to profiteer.”
The MP has also formed a group of volunteers made up of over 100 persons drawn from NADMO and political support groups trained by Ghana Health Service to embark on Public Education on the disease.
