born on January 27th in her hometown of Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria to Chief Amos Oluwole Sodimu. She is an herbal medicine consultant and researcher, entrepreneur and banker. Quincy Olasumbo Ayodele Early Life
Due to her parents moving to the UK, Quincy grew up with her grandmother at Mabel Osunmi Sodimu in Olorunsogo village. It was during this time that she learnt a lot about herbal medicine. While in Ogun State, she had her grade schools at African Church Primary School in Yambi Village and Comprehensive High School, Ayetoro, Yewa North. She thereafter proceeded to the Ogun State Polytechnic for a diploma but left the institution before the final examination to attend Pitman's Central College, London. At the UK, she graduated with a higher diploma in secretarial administration.
Quincy Olasumbo Ayodele Career
Upon her return to Nigeria, Quicy joined the services of Societe Generale Bank Nigeria Limited as secretary. She subsequently became the personal assistant to the managing director of the bank. She spent 12 years at the bank before leaving to begin her own business called Quincy Herbal.
Quincy is the pioneer Secretary General for the umbrella body of traditional medicine in Nigeria. She is an adviser for the development of African traditional medicine to the World Health Organization (WHO). She has contributed significantly to the development of traditional medicine to combat malaria and HIV, as well as research and development of African traditional medicine and integration of African traditional medicine into the healthcare system and many others.
Quincy Olasumbo Ayodele Personal Life
Quincy is married to Engr. John Oladipo Ayodele whom she calls 'my lord'. They are blessed with three children - Tobi Ayodele Keeney, master's degree holder in nursing from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in the US, Marita Tola Abdul and John Temi Ayodele. They also have grandchildren and currently live in Lagos, Nigeria.

In 2018, she was bestowed with an excellence award in recognition of her contribution to the development of medicinal plant into medicinal herbs products and foods. She was given the award during the 13th Biennial Conference of Association of Lady Pharmacists (ALPS) in Abuja, Nigeria.
