ADEBAYOR IN TURKEY...MAN Who God blesses, who can stop?

At his best, Emmanuel Adebayor plays with a power and precision that few strikers in the world can match. Problem is that best isn't seen very often. Arsenal, Manchester City and most recently Tottenham all enjoyed his good form and then endured much longer periods of ineffectiveness. Adebayor was released by Spurs in September 2015 after failing to find a new club in the summer window and not long after got a new lease of life with Crystal PALACE



Adebayor is class act, how many African starts can boast of big tie  soccer like him, he has stints with  Metz, Monaco, REAL Madrid, and now this highly favored Togo  TROJAN has joined Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir on an 18-month contract for an undisclosed fee.
He represented Togo at the African Cup of Nations earlier this month, but they failed to qualify for the knockout stages, finishing bottom of Group C.
Istanbul Basaksehir is currently second in the Super Lig table

"He was one of the players on our transfer short list," said director Mustafa Erogut.
"He returned with a positive report and we then contacted Adebayor. The player is impressed by the club's project and the president's vision so it is clear to us that the club and the player will contribute to each other."
Adebayor had been linked with a move to Turkish champions Besiktas, but some reports state the club wasn’t prepared to meet his demands.

He had wanted an annual salary of £3million (around £58,000-a-week) but Beskitas – currently top of the Turkish Super Lig – were only prepared to pay him £2million.
That’s when Basaksehir stepped in.
The Istanbul club finished fourth in the Super Lig last year, their best ever finish, but have traditionally been a lower league side.

ADEBAYOR MESSAGE OF HOPE

Adebayor has this to say of his new club “ I am happy to be part of this beautiful project and to be part of this club, I really want to do my best in my new job which is to score good goals and to help the team in big games, am grateful” he said
