FALSE Corruption allegation: Gov Umahi carpets Ebonyi APC factional chairman

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has  carpeted a cleric,  Pastor Eze Nwachukwu Eze, over his recent outburst against him and his administration.

Eze, who parades himself as the state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC),   in recent time had been on Umahi's jugglar, calling on him to resign over what he considers as massive  fraud   in the state under his watch.

But the governor, in a statement on Friday  by his Chief Press Secretary, Emma Anya, asked Eze to rather  face his criminal charge in court and desist from distracting his government from delivering democracy dividends to Ebonyians.

According to  the statement,   Eze lacks credibility in all fronts  to have the moral justification to beam a searchlight on the  governor and his administration..

  "Eze   is known to be facing criminal charge in the   state High Court for forging the signatures of some genuine APC members endorsing him as the party’s chairman in Ebonyi State," the statement claimed.

It  added that the government had a  "documentary evidence about this which we intend to publish in due course."

Umahi said in the statement that  he was happy that the public was aware that Eze is an impostor who is neither the APC chairman in the state nor a genuine member of the party.

"If he claims to be a genuine APC member, he should be more interested in finding ways to and means of uniting the party members," he added.

He stated  that Eze is an agent of Abuja-based politicians whose primary desire  is  to truncate the existing  peace in the state and discredit his government.

But the  governor stated that  the good thing  was  that the people of Ebonyi who gave their mandate to him  to exercise on their behalf  would "never allow agents of the devil to have their negative desires come to pass." 

Umahi  added that   he knew that  Eze   and his  masters were peeved by "the earth-shaking allegation   by Justice Ngwuta that Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu attempted to bribe him" in order to have his     mandate "thwarted through the judiciary but God exposed their plot and brought shame to them."

Umahi also accused  Eze of openly selling empowerment forms to unemployed youths of Ohaukwu LGA claiming that it was a Federal Government directive,

He pointed out   that the good thing was  that his government had internvened by empowering over 4,500 unemployed youths and women of Ebonyi State and provided the sum of N250, 000 to  them  to embark on business of their choice.

PASTOR EZE NWACHUKWU EZE SHOULD FACE HIS CRIMINAL CHARGE IN COURT

 

 

We have in the past two weeks been monitoring the overt and covert determination by Eze Nwachukwu Eze, to drag the hard-earned positive reputation of His Excellency, Engr. David Umahi, to the mud and to distract him from his duty of delivering democracy dividends to Ebonyians.

Yesterday, Nov. 10, Eze N. Eze, who calls the name of the Lord but engages in all acts of destabilisation, called a retinue of journalists to a press conference in Abakaliki, and took his inglorious mission a notch further.        

We are however happy that the public, especially Ebonyians have come to know him as an impostor who cannot speak for the All Progressives Congress (APC). Eze is neither the APC chairman in Ebonyi State nor a genuine member of the party. If he claims to be a genuine APC member, he should be more interested in finding ways to and means of uniting the party members.

We know Eze Nwachukwu Eze to be an agent of Abuja-based politicians   whose desire is that peace does not reign in our state. We are aware that their primary aim is to cause chaos in the state in order to discredit the administration of Engr. David Umahi. The good thing is that Ebonyians know their antics. The people of Ebonyi who gave their mandate to Governor Umahi will never allow agents of the devil to have their negative desires come to pass.

Eze Nwachukwu Eze called a sponsored press conference even though he is not recognised by the APC national leadership as Ebonyi State chairman.  Even though we know he has no atom of proof against Governor Umahi on his allegations, we know his angst. Eze N. Eze is peeved by the earth-shaking allegation made by Justice Ngwuta that Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu attempted to bribe him to have Governor Umahi’s mandate thwarted through the judiciary. But God is a living God. He exposed their plot and brought shame to them.

Pastor Eze is merely trying to justify the crumbs he gets from his pay- masters in Abuja. His press conference on Thursday, 10^th November, is already causing disquiet between him and the journalists who attended it. It is known to us that Eze diverted almost 60 per cent of the money given to him by a lackey of Dr. Onu to organise the press conference. What a shame. Pastor Eze lacks credibility in all fronts. He is known to be facing criminal charge in the Ebonyi State High Court for forging the signatures of some genuine APC members endorsing him as the party’s chairman in Ebonyi State. We have documentary evidence about this which we intend to publish in due course.

The commercial pastor is also known to have openly sold empowerment forms to unemployed youths of Ohaukwu LGA claiming that it was Federal Government directive. What a heartless soul. He cashed in on the hapless situation of his kinsmen looking for means of livelihood. Indeed, Eze Nwachukwu can do anything just to get money.

The good thing however is that Governor Umahi had already put in place a programme in which over 4,500 unemployed youths and women of Ebonyi State are being provided the sum of N250, 000 to embark on business of their choice. Nigerians know that even the APC at the Federal level does not have any empowerment programme in which it gives out such huge amount of money.
