THE MAN, OLOROGUN MICHAEL: LIFE LESSONS FROM THE PATRIARCH OF IBRU DYNASTY (1, CALM)
“…Even
heaven itself blazes over death of Prince”-Shakespeare
A
Global Rare Tribute by Mike Cerutti Osagie,
Of CERUTTI MEDIA GROUP (CMG Memorials Unit)
LIFE is but
a stage, and in order to leave an indelible mark, we must make every effort to
play the role of a leading actor; we must move to make a meaningful impact, for
even respected wordsmith Sir William Shakespeare once posited “When baggers
die, there are no comets seen, but even heavens itself blazes over the death of
princes”
The recent
passing to glory of the legendary
Olorogun Sir Michael Ibru is a case study of a man who is not just an ordinary
Prince, but can be likened to a lion among other animals, an iroko tree, and a
giant in the Sun
Ever since
his death, tributes have not cease to stop pouring from the length and breadth
of this world, and in our tradition at CERUTTI MEDIA GROUP (CMG) of consistently
paying tributes to global role models, rich, famous and the successful mortals,
Our Memories department have decided to open a special case file on- THE MAN
OLOROGUN MICHAEL: LIFE LESSONS FROM THE PATRIARCH OF IBRU DYNASTY
Here, in any
topic you click, you will get what great men AND even women have to say of this
tireless philanthropist, industrial colossus and tireless giver of hope to the
hopeless, we roll of from an old student of Igbobi college, Prince Adolfo
Oluwani-Williams, who spoke to us last night on the death of Ibru, a onetime
school prefect of the great and historical Igbobi College.
Hear him:
“Words cannot express my feelings of the man Olorogun Ibru, he was a giant in
human skin, a man beyond the ordinary and we old and new students cannot ever
forget him
“ Olorogun
was once student here and ended up as school prefect, but he was different, he
left Igbobi College but Igbobi refused to leave him, so every year he was the
soul financier of the Igbobi College yearly dinner, his memories will live on.
“He made my
dream of learning and playing musical instruments a reality because he was the
first to supply the college ultramodern set of standard musical instruments
from where a lot of us learnt how to play guitar, piano, bases, violin and
other instrument.
“A great,
lucky, likeable and hardworking man who was born on the glorious Xmas day of Dec 25th, Olorogun
made sure he personally send all his brothers and relatives to the best school
across the world because he wanted his family to end up like a destiny and he
died achieving that objective
“ But beyond
business, my experience and memory of Olorogun, the day I met him, still
remains ever green, he was so methodical and meticulous but his greatest weapon
was his calmness, he is what the Bible described as being calm and humble, he was never in haste,
he is strategist that takes time to greet you, no matter how young you are , he
asks how your life, family and career, his calmness is beyond proportion and
I THINK the world will be better place
if giants of today can be as calm as the Olorogun” Prince Oluwani Williams told
our Memories Unit last night.
