warm early morning of Saturday 6th August 2016 was nothing but class
and image making mixed together- as its best

equally similar occasion, when many less fortunate mortals, less famous, less
armed with the massive pedigree of men like Chief Ezeigbo Could have thrown a
top of the range party aka Owambe, with paid adverts all over the newspapers
and magazines, and even “closed “some luxury pages in Ovation and the likes,
the Slot Czar and his family opted for a low key sporting birthday event
AS at early
in the morning of that glorious Saturday of August 6th, the usually
serene Excellence Hotel, Ogba, Ikeja Lagos lawn tennis lounge was already a
beehive of activities, as top celebrities, tennis buffs and business associates
continuously trooped the lounge to pay homage and be part of the Chief Eziegbo
tennis tourney, staged by VICTOR CONSULT-the body in charge of
sports and fitness section of the Excellence hotel

SLOT’S EZEIGBO @ 60 VIA TENNIS TOURNEY, the SLOT CEO used the days
opportunity of his golden jubilee event to prove to the world that all work and
no play makes jack a dull boy, he also
used the tennis tourney to show how fit as fiddle he is, he did not only
dressed sporty in his trade mark tennis
all white outfits, he also showed his deft tennis touches, playing no less than
three games, including a double delight to the admiration of all and sundry on
hand to cheer him up
After
playing the traditional singles, doubles and mixed doubles to the cheering of
the full tennis buffs in attendance,
high chief Ezeigbo took a bow and arrived at the VIP stand to take his seat by
his beloved wife, Lolo Nkechi Ezeigbo,
and a few of her friends and relatives, who sat a few yards from her lovely children
Amidst a
very conducive environment, made up of people from all works of life, good
music and none stop refreshment going while game proceeds, the major event of
the day was called to the centre court after series of preliminaries run, and
in the highly contested grand final Prince Orlando Monti, showed real class
when he outpaced Mike Eriola Adedeji to emerge overall winner of the 50th
birthday tennis classic staged on behalf of Chief Ezeigbo
The winners
and runner up did not only smile home with mouth watering prizes of high
Tech/trendy phones like Samsung S1, Samsung A7 and Gionni M5, the visiting fans
and well wishes were not left to go home dry, as a raffle draw was staged and
three lucky winners went home smiling with their sleek mobiles phones, all

A giant
birthday cake was later brought out and
after count of J E S US the celebrant, supported by his wife, Chief Mrs.
Nkechi Ezeigbo, children, relatives and other well wishers, did the traditional
cutting which preceded the sharing it all around the Excellence Hotel
tennis family
Speaking
after the overall presentation was made, the celebrant, Chief Emeka Ezeigbo,
who remains one of the major force that re-defined the modern off the rack
sales of phones, and with his brand
almost all part of the Country, thanked God for bringing him this far from
scratch and promised that Slot will not relent on her effort to keep projecting
good image, he also thank his wife and family for not giving hoper on him and
