For his tireless efforts in  maintaining peace, democratic orderliness and political  and economic due process across Africa, coupled with his recent landmark role as head of the African Union observer mission/election monitoring group of the 2013 ZIMBABWE ELECTIONS, a 21st century Nigeria Politician, former  senator and a Governorship hope come 2014 Anambra gubernatorial election, Senator  Chief  Alphonsus Obiegbeke from Anambra North, have heaped  accolades on former Nigeria two time era head of state, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo

The flamboyant eastern politician who is fondly called by his people with the very elaborate nickname of  UBANESEOKWU from  Nsugbe,  was not selfish with  superlative words when he spoke on the role of Chief obasanjo, not only in the 2013 Zimbabwe election but in his native country Nigeria and the continent as a whole
  Senator Obiegbeke, whose leadership style and  philanthropic gesture is being talked about all over the east, postulated in a telephonic conversation with our  reporter that: ‘’ With his role in Zimbabwe, Baba has shown that he is one of the most visible and international recognized political master strategist and respected statesman still alive from Nigeria

‘’ He is a silent achier, he is a perfect case study of what modern Politician should be like, that he was handpicked to lead to Zimbabwe  Election when many wrote him off from the home front is a major achievement, it has gone to show that many a times we Nigeria do not value what we have, I greet Obasanjo for the role he played for conducting a most historical election’’ was how the charismatic Politician concluded
