Nigeria's fashion manufacturing industry is set for a major boost as two leading industrialists come together to host The Lagos Fashion Business Masterclass. The one-day intensive training is presented by Beyond Clothing Garment Manufacturing Factory in collaboration with Ruff 'n' Tumble, Nigeria's leading children's wear brand. The event is scheduled for Thursday, 15th October 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Shell Zenith Bank Hall, MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos, and is strictly limited to 1,000 seats.
Headlining the masterclass is Mrs Adenike Ogunlesi, Industrial Garment Manufacturer and Founder of Ruff 'n' Tumble. She is arguably Nigeria's most successful story in children's fashion, having built Ruff 'n' Tumble from a small home business into the country's leading children's wear brand with nationwide presence. Her journey from making clothes with her mother's sewing machine to owning a world-class garment factory makes her the perfect mentor for tailors, fashion brands, and everyone who dreams of garment manufacturing in Nigeria.

Mrs Ogunlesi will be sharing practical insights on the Business of Making Clothes in Nigeria — a subject she has mastered for over two decades. Participants will learn how she scaled production, maintained quality, built a sustainable brand, and survived the challenges of manufacturing in Nigeria. Her session is expected to demystify the transition from fashion tailoring to industrial garment manufacturing, which is where real profit and job creation lie.

She will be joined by Prince Arthur Uche, Founder and Managing Director of Beyond Clothing Garment Manufacturing Factory, who is co-hosting the event. Together, both industrialists will provide a full-day immersion into factory setup, sourcing, costing, staffing, and market positioning. The masterclass is live in Lagos and designed to be hands-on and highly practical.
