Jos, Plateau State — The Managing Director of MK Grills Fast Food, Princess Mrs. Queen Lawal, has called on Nigerian youths to remain focused, disciplined, and God-fearing as they pursue their dreams. The advice was given during an interview with Cerutti Media, a subsidiary platform , Richlist International , on the occasion of her 50th birthday celebration on July 12, 2026.

Princess Lawal, who is widely regarded as one of the leading women in the fast food industry in Jos, used the milestone to reflect on her journey in business and life. She noted that the challenges she faced growing the MK Grills brand taught her the value of resilience and purpose. According to her, turning 50 is not just about celebration but also about giving back wisdom to the younger generation.

Speaking on the importance of focus, the MK Grills boss outlined five key points for youths. First, she said focus helps young people set clear goals and avoid distractions. Second, it builds consistency which is necessary for success in business and career. Third, focus protects youths from negative peer influence. Fourth, it creates room for skill development and mastery. Finally, she emphasized that focus gives direction and helps turn small opportunities into big results.

Princess Lawal also shared how faith played a central role in her growth. She recounted moments when business was tough but holding on to God kept her going. She encouraged youths to cultivate a personal relationship with God and to seek divine guidance in every decision. “Without God, nothing is possible,” she stated

As part of her birthday activities, She stressed that her goal is to raise a new generation of business owners who will create jobs and contribute to the economy of Plateau State and Nigeria at large.



She further urged government and private sector leaders to create more platforms for youth empowerment. According to her, when youths are gainfully engaged, crime and idleness reduce drastically. She pledged that MK Grills will continue to provide employment and training opportunities for young people in Jos.

In her closing remarks, Princess Queen Lawal thanked God, her family, staff, and customers for their support over the years. She concluded with a charge: “Stay focused, work hard, and above all, always reverence God. That is the secret to a fulfilled life and lasting success.”
