Politics Now....PRIMATE AYODELE SPEAKS ON OYO ELECTION

•By Mike Cerutti publisher Richlist Int.

Primate Elijah Ayodele has publicly dared former Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu, to win the Oyo State governorship election without consulting him. The cleric made the statement in a virile video that has been circulating online, where he spoke directly to Adelabu and his political ambitions.

In the video, Primate Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, declared that Adelabu’s governorship bid would remain unfulfilled unless he sought spiritual direction. He insisted that God had already revealed the direction of Oyo’s leadership and that ignoring divine counsel would only lead to repeated disappointment for the former minister.

The primate recalled that he had previously given Adelabu prophetic guidance ahead of past elections, which he claimed the politician disregarded to his detriment. Ayodele stressed that the same pattern would continue if Adelabu relied solely on political strategy and financial strength without spiritual backing.

According to him, Oyo politics is not only about structure and resources but also about divine alignment. He warned that many aspirants often underestimate the role of prophecy in determining who occupies the state’s highest office, and that Adelabu’s case would be no different.

Primate Ayodele emphasized that his message is not motivated by personal interest but by his mandate to speak God’s word to leaders. He clarified that it is a warning rather than a rivalry, and that he remains open to offering counsel if Adelabu chooses to approach him.

The video has since stirred reactions across Oyo’s political circles, with supporters and critics debating the influence of religious leaders in electoral politics. While some see the remarks as a challenge to Adelabu’s credibility, others view it as a reaffirmation of the primate’s consistent involvement in national affairs.

For now, Adelabu has not publicly responded to Primate Ayodele’s challenge. Political observers note that the development adds another layer of intrigue to the build-up to the Oyo governorship race, where spiritual endorsements often play a quiet but significant role alongside party machinery.
