Thousands of worshippers converged at Prayer City, Moye Ibafo Road, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, for the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries’ non-denominational Power Must Change Hands (PMCH) programme. The May edition, tagged "Encounter with God of Elijah," drew a diverse crowd of eminent personalities, captains of industry, and government officials who joined believers from across denominations for the special monthly service. Held from 7 AM to 12 PM WAT, the meeting was also broadcast live on satellite TV and online to reach participants beyond Nigeria.

Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, General Overseer of MFM, anchored the non-denominational gathering with a focus on spiritual warfare and deliverance. Continuing the series "Defeating Domestic Wickedness (3)," he ministered on "7 Strange Prayers That Break Witchcraft," leading the interdenominational congregation to confront household and polygamous witchcraft. The session was marked by intense prayers for destiny recovery, breaking satanic chains, and releasing spiritual fire against long-standing battles, with worshippers responding with a seven-fold Amen for demonic assignments to backfire.

The presence of high-profile attendees underscored the programme’s wide appeal. Eminent personalities, captains of industry, and government officials stormed Prayer City, Moye Ibafo Road, to participate in the non-denominational encounter. PMCH, held every first Saturday of the month, has become a unifying ground where leaders and citizens from various Christian backgrounds gather for revival, deliverance, and divine intervention on national and personal issues.

Towards the close of the service, Dr. Olukoya released several strategic prayer points aimed at "Reversing the Arrows of the Wicked" and restoring stolen destinies. The congregation was led in warfare prayers against powers assigned to rubbish their destinies, with declarations of breakthrough, protection, and restoration. The altar was described as a place of fire where battles are decided and victories are enforced.

In his final charge, the Mountain of Fire leader admonished the non-denominational gathering not to give up hope in God regardless of prevailing circumstances. He urged all present to remain diligent, humble, and devoted to their divine calling, affirming that God preserves and anoints His people for purpose.

The service concluded with blessings pronounced on physical and online participants, with expectations of undeniable miracles following the "Encounter with God of Elijah" at Prayer City, Moye Ibafo Road.
