Delta politics is no longer local. It is a national chessboard. The forces that bankrolled the attempt to unseat you in 2023 are regrouping. They understand Senate numbers, committee control, and the Red Chamber’s influence on national direction. If APC sleeps on its own assets, 2027 will be fought with 2023’s weapons, only sharper.

Ned Nwoko is not a career talking head. He is a bridge. South-South credibility, international exposure, legal intellect, and grassroots mobilization in one man. From the Paris Club refunds fight to malaria eradication advocacy, his record shows a legislator who thinks nation first. That is rare currency in today’s politics. APC cannot afford to keep such currency in a drawer.

The Delta playbook is simple: capture the Senate to weaken the presidency. The same network that pushed the PDP vice presidential ticket in 2023 is eyeing the Red Chamber to relaunch. Look at his motions and bills: Anioma State creation, social security for the elderly, climate change, defense of Nigeria’s economic sovereignty. These are not sectional demands. They are nationalist positions that expand APC’s appeal beyond its base. That is how you build a post-2027 coalition — not by recycling the same faces that nearly cost you 2023.

The opposition understands symbols. That is why Delta is critical. If the architects of the 2023 attempt return to the Red Chamber under any banner, they return with institutional memory and a vendetta. The only antidote is to elevate leaders whose personal ambition is tied to national stability. Nwoko has shown that discipline repeatedly.

This is not about friendship. It is about statecraft. Presidents are judged by the men they trust in the room when the stakes are high. The Senate will shape oil reforms, security funding, constitutional amendments, and the 2027 climate. You need nationalists there, not merchants. Nwoko has already paid his dues in courts, communities, and caucuses.

So let me say it loudly and clearly: Senator Ned Nwoko is Nigeria’s biggest nationalist asset right now. Use him strategically in the Senate, in policy, and in South-South reconciliation. The alternative is to lose the initiative to the same hands that nearly derailed your mandate.
