Special Milestone: Sarah Omakwu Celebrates God’s Grace As Family Worship Centre Church Clocks 33

Pastor Sarah Omakwu is full of gratitude as Family Worship Centre marks 33 years in service of God. In a heartfelt anniversary message, she declared herself a living testimony of divine turnaround. 

She posited in a position paper made available to us: _“I am a living testimony. What should have taken me out, God turned around for His glory. And as we mark 33 years as a church, my heart is full of gratitude.”

Reflecting on the journey, she added: _“Hallelujah!!! 33 years ago, by the grace and instruction of God, this great work began. What started as a step of obedience has become a family, a covering, a place of transformation, and a testimony of God’s faithfulness.”



“Today, my heart is full,” Pastor Sarah continued. _“I remember my dear husband, Pastor Ina Omakwu, his passion, his sacrifice, his unwavering love for God and for people. Though he is not here with us physically, his seed lives on. His obedience still speaks. And I am deeply grateful for the foundation he laid.”

She acknowledged the road has not been easy, but affirmed God’s faithfulness through every season. _“He has carried us, strengthened us, and caused this house to grow in grace and in purpose,”_ she said, saluting members past and present. _“Your prayers, your service, your commitment… they matter more than words can express.”

Looking ahead, Pastor Sarah declared: _“As we mark 33 years, we are not just celebrating how far we have come, we are stepping boldly into all that God has prepared for us ahead. The vision is still alive. The mandate is still clear. And the best is still to come.”
