Philanthropist Watch: Staggering.... Paul Onuachu Commended for Plans to Build A Staggering $450,000 international standard hospital Back Home

" If you cannot feed Hundred people, feed just one" - Mother Theresa

Star footballer Paul Onuachu has been commended for his plans to build a $450,000 international standard hospital in his hometown, Amohia, Owerri. The Trabzonspor of Turkey and Super Eagles hitman described the project as his life ambition.

The proposed medical facility is designed to meet strong standards in infrastructure and care. According to close sources, the hospital will include modern diagnostic units, a functional theatre, maternity and pediatric care, and a 24-hour emergency section to serve Owerri and nearby communities.

Onuachu said the decision came from a deep desire to give back to the community that raised him. He noted that access to quality healthcare remains a challenge for many families in Imo State, and he wants to help change that story with a lasting project.

Stakeholders in sports and health have praised the move as a clear example of athlete-led development. Community leaders in Amohia welcomed the news, saying the hospital will create jobs, reduce the need to travel far for treatment, and help save lives lost to late or poor access to care.

The Super Eagles striker stressed that the hospital is not for show but a personal mission. He plans to work with credible partners to ensure proper management, training of local staff, and affordable services for everyday people.
