The Sportsville Awards (SV Awards) is proud to announce that all is set for its sixth edition, scheduled to take place on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, at the Lagos Country Club in Ikeja

The event promises to be a memorable evening, honoring outstanding individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the sports industry. The nominees, selected from various categories, have been announced, and the anticipation is building up.

According to Hon Frank Ilaboya,the event convener...The Icon Category features Chuka Momah and Kwame Arthur, while the Innovative Category showcases Bambo Akani and Dr. Femi Bankole-Alibay. Dr. Christian Emeruwa and Felix Akiga are nominated in the Achievers Category.

The Special Recognition Category has an impressive list of eight nominees, including Akin Folarin, Fred Newton Erhunmhese, Barr Isaac Danladi, Toyosi Oyetunji, Dr. Toyin Aluko, Fausat Dehinde-Yekini, Godwin Kienka, and AMA-Ebi Ebikpolade. Hon Amadin Desmond Enabulele is the sole nominee in the Visionary Leadership Category.

In the Sports Facilities Category, Govt's Godswill Akpabio Stadium and Eagles Wings Sports Complex (Private) are up for recognition. BRILA MEDIA GROUP is nominated for the Excellence in Sports Media Award.

The Sports Personalities of the Year Category features Hon Itiako Ikpokpo and Hon Enitan Oshodi, while Mallam Shehu Dikko is nominated in the Sports Transformative Category.

The Sportsville Awards 2026 promises to be a night of celebration, inspiration, and recognition of excellence in the sports industry.
