Dangote's educational support is making a significant impact in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, by providing essential materials and opportunities to students. The company has donated school materials worth N241 million to 3,704 students, including 1,348 primary school pupils and 2,356 secondary school students

This initiative has removed financial barriers, enabling students to attend school with confidence. Beneficiaries like Yusiot Taiwo and Saheed Olukayode have described the programme as life-changing, providing pathways to employment and further education



The Dangote Scholarship Award Programme, launched in 2019, has supported hundreds of students annually, with 442 students benefiting from the 2025 scholarship cycle. The programme focuses on vocational training, skills development, and employment opportunities 

Dangote's support extends beyond scholarships, with investments in infrastructure, including a modern block of classrooms handed over to the Lagos State Basic Education Board. This demonstrates the company's commitment to creating a conducive learning environment 

The impact of Dangote's educational support is evident in the lives of beneficiaries. For instance, 22 youths completed City & Guilds of London certification programmes in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, with 19 already employed by Dangote Fertiliser 

Community leaders, including the Onilekki of Lekki Land, Oba Kazeem Olumuyiwa Ogunbekun, commend Dangote's consistent interventions, which have strengthened community relations and improved livelihoods

The Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Rasaki Bamidele Kasali, praises the initiative as timely and impactful, urging Dangote to extend similar support to neighbouring communities 

Dangote's educational support is part of its broader commitment to corporate social responsibility, aligning with global development priorities, including quality education, poverty reduction, and decent work opportunities 




By investing in education, Dangote is empowering the next generation of leaders and contributing to Nigeria's socio-economic growth. The company's efforts have created a ripple effect, inspiring positive change in Ibeju Lekki and beyond
