A recent skit has put Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo  in the spotlight, with calls for understanding and empathy from notable figures.

Prof. Charles E. Orbih, a renowned Edo State-born technocrat in the diaspora, has issued a statement urging the public to consider the human behind the title.

"The praise of men is fleeting - Beware," he warns.


The statement made available to Cerutti Media comes as social media users continue to react to a trending skit featuring Governor Okpebholo.

While some have taken to social media to poke fun, others are calling for empathy and understanding.

"The pressure of public life is immense," Prof. Orbih notes. "A moment of vulnerability or mistake shouldn't define his tenure."

Prof. Orbih's appeal highlights the need for responsible online behavior. "Let's use social media to uplift and support, not just criticize."
