Lagos, Nigeria – The World Integrated Economic Growth Initiative (WIEG) is pleased to announce the WIEG Investment Summit 2026, scheduled for February 25th and 26th in Lagos, Nigeria. This private sector-led event aims to address pressing challenges facing MSMEs, cooperatives, and women-led businesses in Nigeria, including limited access to structured investment and capital.

Despite ongoing policies to support MSMEs, significant challenges remain, including gaps in investment readiness and compliance among enterprises, fragmented engagement between policy, investors, and market actors, and weak post-intervention tracking to measure outcomes. The Summit addresses these challenges by providing a platform that connects policy, private capital, and growth-ready enterprises.



The WIEG Investment Summit is designed to deliver practical results, featuring curated participation, structured engagement, and post-Summit continuity, ensuring measurable outcomes. Government participation is strictly institutional and advisory, with full discretion on representation and branding.

The Summit addresses key national and regional priorities, including job creation and enterprise growth, women’s economic empowerment, strengthened cooperative engagement, and improved investor confidence and ecosystem coordination. "This Summit is about creating a structured pathway from policy to capital to enterprise growth," said Mr. Bassey Essien, Spokesperson and Lead WIEG Representative.
