Abuja, Nigeria – The Deacon Chris Iyovwaye Foundation announces the unveiling and public presentation of the illuminating new book “The Hidden Treasures: An Exposition on the Rich Resources and Opportunity in Niger Delta.” The launch will take place in two historic sessions: today, 21 November 2025, at Ladies Kwali Hall, Abuja Continental Hotel, and on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, at the Monarch Centre, Efurum, Delta State
The Abuja ceremony kicks off at 10 a.m. with a welcome address by Deacon Chris Iyovwaye, MD/CEO of Wellmann Group of Companies, who is known for his humanitarian work and leadership in the heavy‑lifting sector . The program will feature a keynote speech, a book‑reading segment, and a panel discussion highlighting the untapped potentials of the Niger Delta region.
In Warri, the event will be chaired by High Chief Johnbull Ejovi and will commence at 2 p.m., offering a similar lineup of speakers, cultural performances, and a special focus on youth empowerment and community development. The dual‑venue format ensures that stakeholders from across the nation can participate in celebrating the book’s vision for sustainable growth in the Delta.
The launch will be graced by distinguished guests, including legal luminary Prof Mike Ozekhome SAN CON OFR, a Nation builder and a senior advocate renowned for his contributions to Nigerian jurisprudence , former President Goodluck Jonathan, and former Minister of Information Ike Nwachukwu
