Big Stage Set For The Walk for Affordable Education 2025
All is now set for the Farm4Fam NG "Walk for Affordable Education 2025," a transformative initiative aimed at raising funds to support private primary schools in Plateau State. This 25km walk will take place on April 21, 2025 and is designed to promote health, fitness, and the critical importance of accessible education..
Princess Eniola Soladoye, Project Manager of the Walk for Affordable Education, stated, “With rising inflation in Nigeria, operational costs for private primary schools have surged, posing a significant challenge to their affordability and the quality of education they provide. Our goal is to raise 10,000,000 Naira to help alleviate these financial burdens and ensure that children from low- to middle-income families continue to receive quality education.”
The funds raised through this initiative will be utilized to subsidize the operational costs of private primary schools in the region, making it possible for them to maintain their standards and offer quality education at an affordable price. This initiative not only addresses the financial challenges faced by these schools but also encourages community involvement and a commitment to the well-being of future generations.Participants and supporters are encouraged to register for the event and join hands in making a meaningful impact in the lives of children in Plateau State. Together, we can ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive academically and socially.
