In this exclusive interview with Richlist Magazine International, the Maryland USA domiciled Nigerian born Dr. Chichi Nwajei opens up about her life, passions, and inspirations. From her childhood in Nigeria to her successful career in America, Dr. Nwajei shares her remarkable journey and the lessons she's learned along the way.

*Richlist Magazine:Beyond your life as an entrepreneur and optometrist, please tell us about yourself as an author.

Dr. Chichi Nwajei: My name is Dr. Chichi Nwajei, and I'm the author of "Dream Big: Clear Steps and Tools for Success." I'm a book lover and an avid reader/writer. In my interactions with diverse people, I realized how quickly people give up on great ideas/dreams and loose their passion. I knew I had to write about tools to help people hold onto their dreams and dream bigger.

*Richlist Magazine:What is your childhood upbringing like?

*Dr. Chichi Nwajei: I had a fantastic childhood, born to Late Sir (Dr.) Dick W. Emuchay and Lady C.N. Emuchay from Azumini, Ukwa East LGA, Abia State, Nigeria. My parents instilled in me amazing life skills, a community-centered mindset, and a positive value system.

*Richlist Magazine: Will you say you were born poor or from a silver spoon background?

*Dr. Chichi Nwajei: My parents provided genuine love, a comfortable lifestyle, and  prioritized education while instilling discipline. We had a great sense of community, responsibility, and purpose.

*Richlist Magazine: What prompted you to write "Dream Big"?

*Dr. Chichi Nwajei: I wrote "Dream Big" with a positive mindset, knowing it would become a global resource to help people maximize their potentials. Everyone deserves a chance to believe in their dreams, and those who have given up can begin to dream again.

*Richlist Magazine:What were your initial challenges as an author, and how did you triumph?

*Dr. Chichi Nwajei: I didn't know how to get started or who to turn to for support. However, I found help within my network, and sharing my thoughts opened up new opportunities. I learned that a closed mouth can be a closed destiny.

*Richlist Magazine: At what stage did you move to America, and how is life out there?

*Dr. Chichi Nwajei: I've lived in the US for a few years, and it's been full of lessons. I went through a cultural shock for 6 months, but I've remained my authentic self, showcasing my African values and roots.

*Richlist Magazine: Can you tell us briefly about your family?

*Dr. Chichi Nwajei: I'm a wife, mother, and part of a loving church family. I'm married into Col Nwajei's family in Ibusa, Delta state, Nigeria.

*Richlist Magazine: Is life abroad a bed of roses? What advice do you have for youths trying to relocate abroad?

*Dr. Chichi Nwajei: Life abroad has its challenges. My advice is to build on personal development, create a path for global and generational wealth, pray, have a plan, and work your plan. Remember to stay grounded and focused on what's truly important.

*Richlist Magazine: Tell us about your style... what's the secret to your ageless beauty?

*Dr. Chichi Nwajei:Beauty is from within. I engage in living out my purpose, refilling my spiritual cup, and operating from a place of overflow. I prioritize homemade dishes, occasional restaurant visits, and self-care routines.

*Richlist Magazine:Tell us about your relationship with God and your guiding philosophy.

*Dr. Chichi Nwajei: I believe in God first, family second, and career/business third. My inspiration comes from God, and I'm blessed to use my gifts in the church and community. I'm committed to building bridges, mentoring, and pouring belief into others.

~Dr. Chichi Nwajei's story is a testament to the power of determination, hard work, and faith. Her inspiring journey serves as a reminder that success is achievable to those who believe
