The Caring Hearts Initiative (CHI) Sets Big Agenda For The Year

In the heart of Lagos State, Nigeria, there exists an organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals, particularly children.

 The Caring Hearts Initiative (CHI) is a non-profit organization that strives to be the voice of the voiceless and provide support to those in need.

The Richlist Magazine international recently caught up with the project manager, Alice Amolo (Mrs), who confirmed to us that  CHI has been working tirelessly since its inception to create a nurturing environment where individuals can thrive and reach their full potential.

Inspired by the scripture in Luke 4:18-19, which emphasizes intervention for those in need, the birth of the Caring Hearts Initiative was driven by a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. Alice Amolo (Mrs) and the team at CHI draw motivation from this scripture as they work tirelessly to provide support, care, and resources to those who require assistance.

On sponsorship....she admitted that Coping with sponsorship support has not been easy for CHI, especially in the face of economic challenges. However, the International Church of Christ (ICOC) has been a pillar of support, providing monthly financial assistance that is used for the provision of education, nutrition, and health support to children enrolled in the CHI program. The church also generously provides the office space where CHI conducts its daily operations. Additionally, regular donors within the church contribute towards bursaries and scholarships for tertiary institution students, further enhancing the impact of CHI's work.

It is important to note that the services provided by the Caring Hearts Initiative are not limited to members of the International Church of Christ (ICOC). CHI's services cut across all spheres without discrimination, benefiting individuals from various religious backgrounds, including Muslims, Christians, and Hindus, as long as they are in need and vulnerable. CHI collaborates with existing pre-schools in the community to ensure that support reaches a wider range of beneficiaries.

To further their mission and expand their reach, CHI is organizing a fundraising event through the sale of raffle tickets. The general public is invited to participate by purchasing tickets for just 1,000 naira. By doing so, they not only stand a chance to win fantastic prizes such as return tickets to London, inverter sets, generators, smart TVs, and more, but they also contribute to CHI's goal of raising 30 million naira. The funds raised will be used to expand early childhood development (ECD) service provision to more vulnerable children, making a lasting impact on their lives.

The flag-off date for the fundraising event was July 30th, 2024, and the raffle ticket draw date is scheduled for November 16th, 2024. This presents an exciting opportunity for the public to come together, support a worthy cause, and make a difference in the lives of those in need.
