Edo Governorship Hope, Asue Ighodalo, was overjoyed as he congratulated the Edo Queens football team ( aka Obaseki Babes)for their impressive performance in the ongoing tournament. 

The team had just defeated AS Garde of the Republic of Niger 5-0 in their first game, followed by a 3-0 victory over the Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana, and a 1-0 win over Omnisport Etincelle, propelling them to the top of their group.


Asue Ighodalo, who is also a strong supporter of the team, praised the Edo Queens for their hard work and dedication. "You have made us proud, and we are confident that you will continue to excel and bring glory to Edo State," he said. "Your performance is a testament to the talent and skill that exists in our state, and we are honored to support you every step of the way."

Asue Ighodalo also urged the team to conquer Africa, saying, "You have the potential to go all the way and bring the trophy home. We believe in you and will support you every step of the way."



The Edo Queens, who are determined to make a name for themselves in the tournament, thanked Asue Ighodalo for his support and promised to continue working hard to make their state proud.
