The exit of this great mother , humanitarian and lover of God was officially announced by her family last month
While the burial proper will be coming up in the Eastern part of Nigeria later in the year; the stage is now set for the Celebration of life abroad
We can reveal authoritatively that the international Celebration of life will be taking place on the Saturday of 18th March 2023 at #844 Sanford Ave. Irvington NJ USA from 7 pm - 2 am in a most traditional carnival setting
Her beloved son, American based Nigeria fashion designer Dhabri-khenchy CEO Uwenjah FashionShow brand who confirmed it also told us the importance of why his mother who died at 102 must be celebrated worldwide
His words
" We are having this international event for many reasons..
•To acknowledge the reality of her death at ripe age of 102
•To acknowledge the emotions associated with the death.
•To acknowledge that the relationship with our mother who died has shifted from physical presence to memory.
•To ponder and search for new meaning in life after being with us all these years
•To receive the loving support of remaining family and friends, for though sadness at the loss of a loved one may never entirely go away, but remembrance lives on.
No doubt, the event is expected to be a big show stopper of not only Nigerians affairs but also an Anerican people event for those that lives in US and Canada.
