He has been   described in the superlatives terms in the very recent of times  

Indeed ,he means different things to different people and our subject matter today, in person of Dr Aro Olusegun is one man with several nicknames from as far back as when growing up till date

The well travelled figure's other names sound interesting and we give it all out today 

The first of his many nicknames is that called " The Great Spider" - and he's refered to that way because the spider is a quiet but powerful and noticeable creature.

 It spins its web and catches its prey majorly insects for food. And for Dr Oliseh, during his secondary school (college) days,  was perceived to be taciturn but yet, he was a mover and shaker, influential, cheerful giver, excellent (I.Q) and many more.

Indeed,as strange as this may sound in one's ears; while growing up and even till date ,he is still being referred to as  "Lagos Library" 

He was aliased this name because he loves reading newspapers and magazines thereby contributing to issues and debates. Besides, he is a repository of knowledge. He is ever current on most topics and subjects.... and from his youth days, many sees him  as a robust intellectual think tank 

But who really is  Aro Olusegun? Said to be highly  scholarly,  intensely cerebral, witty and  extraordinarily intelligent!

PROF ARO, OLUGBEMIGA OLUSEGUN otherwise known as Doctor Arrossco in the social scene is an engineer, entertainer, environmentalist, academic, lecturer, teacher, author, writer, publisher, orator, administrator and consultant.

In his educational pursuit, he attended Mayflower School, Ikenne, Ogun State (with 6 distinctions and 2 credits in one sitting graduating in 1988); Yaba College of Technology (ND in Civil Engineering), European American University (B.Sc, (Ed.) Educational Technology); University of Lagos (B.Sc, Mechanical Engineering); University of Lagos (M.Sc Mechanical Engineering); Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife (M.B.A); European American University (Ph.D Industrial Engineering).

He was recently appointed: Professor of Industrial, Systems, Materials and Environmental Engineering by the prestige European-American University on 15 January, 2021

He is also a Professor of Social Work and Administration from the Western Orthodox 

And was only recenetly  appointed:Adjunct Professor of Industrial, Materials and Environmental Engineering;European-American University (Lagos Campus) in 2017

Today, as fate will have it, he is the Director of Academic Planning and Research, European-American University (Lagos Campus) and the Dean of Engineering;European-American University (Lagos Campus)

Furthermore, he holds an international training certificate from Scan Coin Manchester, United Kingdom, as part of Federal Government of Nigeria trained engineers for the Central Bank of Nigeria Coins Project in February, 2007.

Also, he was engaged with Adjunct Senior Lecturership positions at Yaba College of Technology, Redeemer’s College of Technology and Management and Joseph Ayo Babalola University.Formerly, he has lectured as Adjunct Lecturer capacity at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogun State Institute of Technology, Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Otto Ijanikin, Lagos to mention but a few.

He has supervised a good number of students in their projects, theses and dissertations at colleges, polytechnics and universities.He has taught several subjects at Government Secondary School, Dawakin Tofa, Kano State (1997 – 1998) and Stadium High School, Surulere Lagos State (2002 – 2004).

He has several years teaching and lecturing experience having started teaching during his university days in 1991 and started lecturing in 2004.He has presented lead papers at major academic graduation in both local and international conferences, seminars and symposia.

He has taught, lectured and trained thousands of students that cuts across several colleges, institutes, polytechnics and universities.As a researcher, he has authored and published more than eight (8) books namely;Revolutions in Computer Science (2010)Multi-Disciplinary questions and answers in Computer Science (2011)

He was equally a Chief Examiner on ELECTRONIC PAYMENT OPERATIONS course for October 2021 Examination Diet of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

Professionally, he has worked as a banker, marketer, consultant in engineering (building engineering, renovations and construction, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, systems engineering, project engineering and management).

A thoroughbred Nigerian, he has traversed, transmitted and toured 33 states in Nigeria including Abuja as part of his job schedules and routines as a consultant, researcher, banker, marketer, engineer, brand specialist, environmentalist.The only 3 states he has never been to are, Bornu, Yobe (both in the North); Bayelsa (in the South).He is happily married with children.

ON the business and personal life, the able Professor is the  Principal Consultant, chesterfield consulting; President, elaborate entertainment ;Director of studies, Merryfield Schools and the Chief Executive Officer, Primrose Publishing and was only just recently appointed the Executive Director, TOLLYJOSS CREATIONS

Though a highly contended and fulfilled man, Professor Aro Olusegun is not happy with the way and manner successive NIGERIAN Government pass less concern on the plights of the education of our youths today and in an eloborate interview he once granted Cerutti Media Group he was explicit to condemn the current ...yet endless battle between the FGN & ASUU ( Please view here
