 as a triple threat combination.

The same Nigerian- Egypte Business Council that has recently undergone an upgrade, by having the Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea ordering a restructuring of the Egyptian side of the Egypt-Nigeria Business Council, with the new members’ tenure extending for three years effective from September 1st, 2021, which has been the decision in the Egyptian Gazette.

Egyptian Minister of Trade, Nevine Gamea

Gamea said, that the Egyptian side would submit a semi-annual report on the efforts and activities of the council to the Minister of Trade and Industry, as well as its proposals and future plans for the development of common interests between the two countries.

The Egyptian side was formerly led by Walid Gamal El-Din, head of the Export Council for Building Materials and a board member of the Modern Company for Insulation Materials.

Muhammad Yusuf Lere (Sa’in Lere) with Egyptian Associates.

The restructuring step comes within the framework of the ministry’s efforts to increase the rates of intra-regional trade and joint investments between Egypt and Nigeria, in particular, and with the African continent in general. The new formation would include experts in the sectors that represent the main pillar of joint economic and commercial cooperation between Egypt and Nigeria."

"Restructuring is a key component for growth, as it helps our corporate members keep up to date with the latest technology and digital era.", says Muhammad Yusuf Lere (Sa’in Lere), he further added that: "As pleasing as it sounds, many are so rooted in their routines, that they might see this as an unnecessary ground shaking disturbance, yet I feel it is a necessary disturbance, that helps us better redefine what the Nigerian-Egyptian Council stands for and that is Excellence. Furthermore, I command the Egyptian Minister of Trade, Nevine Gamea for her swift approach in realizing that this change will also help achieve better inter-relational connections for both countries as a long hall, which will eventually help this platform for the better, not just for the African members but also for the International community as a whole. Equally, this is why I also support the African Union Industrialization Week, as I feel it is what's also needed to keep the present and future African Business owners evolve within their own industry"

  1. I've known Sa'i for well over 40 years, 47 to be precise. Sa'i has always been business minded and an achiever way back from his secondary school days. These achievements have not therefore come as a surprise, it's just who Sa'i is by Allah's special will. I also see him setting the pace in the forthcoming African Union Commission's "African Industrialization Week".
