SPECIAL TRIBUTE .................Captain Hosa Okunbor Lives On As Chief Ewie Aimienwauu Pays Glowing Tribute
ADIEU DR. CAPTAIN HOSA OKUMBOR
* I remember the first time I met you at your house in GRA Benin. I had come in company of Senator Uzamere. I saw and enjoyed your warmth and generosity. Earlier on I had seen well clad Edo women holding some plastic batons heralding the success of our respected great inlaw and mentor Africa's President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR at the polls. It was said that you put up that spectacular show.
This is more than a decade ago. I was then to discover that you were a great Edo son and friend of my friends and Uncles above all a detribalised Nigerian. I started to hear and see your numerous acts of kindness and empathy for others. I noted your foray into politics something between the humanitarian and the apolitical.
Capitano you were a pillar that supported many dreams and birthed much more aspirations.
Yes you have climbed to celestial heights where only those washed in the blood of Jesus Christ dare.
Yet your good works will leave and bequeath to your generations the inheritance of your good name and the golden marks your entrepreneurial process has left in the sands of time.
I pray most fervently that your memories and legacies lives on as you rest in the Lord's bosom.
I pray that the Holy Spirit comforts your loved one, friends and admirers left behind.
