As the countdown to the much anticipated official launching of the epic book *Democracy & The untold Story of June 12 thickens by the day


The books author , High chief Abimbola Moyosore Aboderin says his effort to reveal deep inner story on the entire episode will be welcomed by all and sundry


For starters, Chief 

Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, also known as M. K. O. Abiola GCFR was a Nigerian top  businessman, publisher, and politician. 




He was the Aare Ona Kankafo XIV of Yorubaland and an aristocrat of the Egba clan before his death


MKO Abiola ran for the presidency in 1993, after wild consultations and won. 


 Abiola was awarded the GCFR posthumously on 6 June 2018 by President Muhammadu Buhari and Nigeria's democracy day was changed to June 12, whom today, chief Aboderin has invited as special guest to the book launch


Abiola was a personal friend and close ally to chief Aboderin who felt obliged to document all what happened




Indeed, Abiola's support in the June 1993 presidential election cut across geo-political zones and religious divisions, among a few politicians to accomplish such a spread during his time.[ By the time of his death, he had become an unexpected symbol of democracy. And he's still being talked about till date
