OF JIMMY ENYEH
New breed politician Victory Oghenechoja Jimmy Enyeh who is set to bid for the Delta State House of Rep via Ethiope West last night had his prolific profile released by his Campaign organisation Consultant, DE CERUTTI Group
He started his educational career with St Isaac
Nursery school, Surulere Lagos State in the year 1971 and proceeded to Tinu Primary
School, Surulere Lagos State in 1973. For his secondary education, well-groomed
Victory attended Metropolitan College, Isolo Lagos State from 1979-1984 and
proceeded to the prestigious University of Lagos where he studied Mass
Communication. Not done with his quest to acquire knowledge, the likable bloke
proceeded to study Public Administration Ambrose Alli University.
Enyeh a devout Christian is a journalist who
has put in over 22 years in active journalism.
He started his career as a society writer
with the Goodtime Magazine in 1995. He joined Fame Magazine as a staff writer
in 1997 and resigned his appointment to work for The Marvel Magazine as a
Deputy Editor in 1999. He again resigned his appointment to join City People
Magazine as correspondent in the Abuja office in the year 2000. He rose to the
position of Abuja Bureau Chief of City People and once again resigned in 2008 to
set up National WAVES, a general interest magazine domiciled in Abuja, the
Federal Capital Territory.
His knowledge of other advanced countries
made him genuinely cosmopolitan. This urbane gentleman recently joined politics
and is currently warming up to contest the Ethiope West seat of Delta State
House of Assembly.
Jimmy Enyeh whose
name connotes honesty, integrity commitment and transparency urged the people
to rally round him to re-position Ethiope West Constituency by voting him in 2019;
this according to him will culminate intorobust and enduring legislature, good
governance, Positive approach to empowerment, instilling hope in the people and
uncompromising representation.
The new breed Journalist
cum politician does not believe in politics of bitterness. He detest violence
like a plague.
For Jimmy Enyeh “Any
politician who spills blood to achieve his aim is nothing but a devil
incarnate. If really his aim is to serve his people and not for selfish
interest, then why spill blood”?
This man of the people
is an advocate of peace, so in love with peace that the Universal Peace
Federation (UPF) bestowed him with an award of International Ambassador For
Peace on September 2, 2010 in Abuja. UPF is an international NGO, with special
consultative status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council
(UN-ECOSOC) with branches in more than 210 independent nations, including
Nigeria and an initiative of alliance of world leaders and its network which
includes people from various fields of human endeavours, who are dedicated to
the realization of world peace.
According to the award letter
signed by Chief (Amb.) Segun Olusola (mni, OFR) who was
the Chairman Board of Trustee UN-UPF/IIFWP Nigeria and Ambassador (Dr.) Olaleye
Alao, Secretary General UN-UPF/IIFWP Nigeria, he was honoured in recognition of
his past efforts at promoting peace, but more importantly, a new global
commissioning of UPF world- wide Peace Building Programmes, which are designed
to complement the mission of the United Nations.
He is married to Olubisi Enyeh
and they are blessed with lovely children.
