Kalu has never hidden his love and loyalty to the former military kingpin and only this week, they both held a closed-door meeting  and Speaking  after the meeting which lasted for about 2 hours, Kalu said he and IBB were having a heart-to-heart discussion on national issues and the future of Nigeria. 


He said their discussion bordered on the insecurity in the country and how to put a stop to it.
 “This is my home and I am always here. I always come to seek advice and have a talk with Babangida on issues that matter a lot. I came here to discuss the level of insecurity in our country. It is a thing of national concern to all of us,” Kalu said. Kalu, who said he could not divulge all they discussed, explained that Babangida will relay their discussions to the president, ministers, security agencies and others.
