"PROUDLY NIGERIAN"..EMINENT NIGERIANS, POTENTIAL RLD LEADERS SPEAKS ON THEIR VIEWS ON WHAT IT MEANS,GUEST-ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR , FORMER VICE PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA

"My idea of PRPOUDLY NIGERIAN" means a Country where we will have free and compulsory education that would enable every African child to acquire basic education to help the continent produce an enlightened citizenry for free education is the norm in those countries that we (Africans), look up to as models for development.
"Using myself as example, it was free and compulsory education that transformed my life and equipped me to play the kind of roles I now play in society rather than having to end up as a rural person in the old Adamawa province of Northern Nigeria.

"For this reason,I have devoted much of my philanthropic endeavours to investment in education which led to the establishment of variouse educational villages , where students, irrespective of their background and means are provided with quality education from kindergarten to University"
- His Excellency, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku GCON, former Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria
