The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maria lodge,Jos Mr. Abayomi Johnson Alao is again making a passionate appeal on Nigeria Government to support tourism development

Speaking to us in Jos, the CEO called on government to develop infrastructural facilities in order to meet up with the current era of hotel business for a hospitable society to boost the economy of plateau state and the country at large.

Prince Alao , decried a level of fallen standard of infrastructure in the state which causes setback to

businesses.
Alao who stressed that private sector of such type of business need government incentives to encourage operators in the subsector when there is better infrastructural facilities such as good motorable road and sanitary environment will enhance in the government policy implementation.

He maintain that a lot of neighborhood lack proper sanitary system to dispose waste and is causing harm to healthy nature of the society.

He however added that private hotels which has been partnering with government in terms of revenue generation now suffer a neglect by the government agencies.

Alao appeal to plateau state government to provide more infrastructure in order to boost the economy of the state in area of tourism and will attract investors handling business in the state which can generate employment to youths.
"We need government support in the area of infrastructure because in the environment here most of the roads are bad and the streets are not well lite.

"We need infrastructures to be develop for our business to look lucrative such as street light,refuse dump area with a better road network and more critical of it is security.
"Government need to do more in the area of security because most of the private hotels engage local security known as vigilante to protect our properties safe.

"In Maria lodge,we have engage few of the unemployed youths as most of them are performing extremely well looking forward to see more in other industrial sectors so as to reduce the overwhelming situation due to fast growing population we have in the country", He said.


The Maria Lodge boss therefore advice youths to be hardworking in every situation they find themselves rather than engaging in negative or criminal activities because it may be difficult to stop such a way word life style.
