The name Anthony Olubunmi Okojie needs little or no introduction before taking his place of pride in the long list of men of eminence in the country's socio- political and religious circle

The top cardinal priest is the former archbishop of Lagos, now  seating as an Emeritus

 Only last week, he joined thousands if voices to comment on the former Governor of Lagos and APC national leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu

 In this special prolific people on Sunday we reproduce his full page letter to the giant politician and master strategist - commending the Asiwaju at 65




 Hear Cardinal Okojie " ,This celebration is an occasion for joy and rejoicing because of what God achieved in you and through you in the past 65 years. Our ' Jagaban' no doubt has been and is still an advocate of justice, a democrat; s pathfinder and a leader in the true sense of the world ,hence the need to celebrate God's mercy and faithfulness in the life of this true son of Nigeria

 " Early in your  rise to prominence you displayed certain qualities that marked you out for recognition, qualities that only people of noble intent and foresight saw and acclaimed. These latent qualities you displayed as you age. In your early age, you were described as an enigma,a bundle of creative ability,with dogged initiative and tendency to break new grounds in areas many feared to tread.

 "The passing of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and others left the stage for search for a true,genuine and sincere leader, a leader that will be chosen by God as He did for Israelites to lead His people in Nigeria to the promised land.You showed yourself as a worthy standard- bearer for social democracy that is,through your fight against federal oppression and became political agent of change without fear or favour

 Here, Archbishop Okojie stated thus " Like Joseph the dreamer of the scripture ,Tinubu saw the Yoruba and Nigeria in general, as a great people and nation blessed by God. Tinubu saw Nigeria in his dream ssy a nation that will one day tower high above other Nations that will be respected and feared in the country of nations.

 " Today, by the Grace of God, your dreams are gradually being transformed into reality. You have made and still making your mark as political giant and business wizard not by your power and might but by the grace and the God you believe in and serve "

 In conclusion,the erudite Okojie stressed that attaining the age of three score and five is therefore no mean achievement for a man of prodigious energy, unbridled passion for excellence and a heart of love

 In the words of Pope John XX111," Men  are like wine, some to vinegar but yhr best improve with age "

 May the lord continue to bless you with courage and wisdom in your future plans and activities to the glory of God.
