“A bone to the dog is not charity. Charity is the bone shared with the dog, when you are just as hungry as the dog.” Is a great saying by legendary
Jack London

As if taking lesson from that quote…Barcelona forward Lionel Messi is a rare brand who continues to show he is man with large heart of gold and through his charitable foundation, has  again donated 3,000 doses of medicine to the fight against Hepatitis C.
According to the MARCA SITES(http://www.marca.com)  His homeland of Argentina will receive 1,000 doses, while the rest will be distributed among countries across the rest of the world, being given to patients with limited resources.

"As another step towards a better world and following the objectives set out by my foundation, I decided to join the fight against this disease and support the cause," explained Messi.
In addition, while in attendance at the Stop The Wait gala in Cairo recently, donations were made for 25,000 Hepatitis C treatments in Egypt.

"Everything I have achieved in the last two years doesn't mean anything if we can't change people's lives in the first place," said the player.
Hepatitis C is an acute, chronic liver infection that can affect the patient for several months or in severe cases, their entire life and it is estimated that 150 million people around the world suffer from the disease.

* LIONEL MESSI mus not only be commended but be emulated
