‘Be at war with your
vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better
man
'- Benjamin Franklin
SPECIAL REPORT BY
MIKE CERUTTI OSAGIE, WHO WAS IN JOS
As part of
his election campaign promises to move alongside his cabinet members to see
that total peace and harmony is restored and return to Jos in particular and
Plateau State in general, the Executive Governor of the State, RT Hon Simon B
Lalong is not yet over with his peace
initiatives
To this end, THE LEGAL LUMINARY,
TURNED POLITICIAN IS EXTENDING A LONG HAND OF INVITATION TO GLOBAL FOREFINGERS
AND THE PEOPLE OF AFRICA AS WELL TO COME AND ENJOY THE MASSIVE PEACE AND
TOURISM POTENTIALS THAT ABOUND JOS AND THE STATE IN GENERAL
Hear the
GOVERNOR “What was seen as a jinx or menace in the past is now a thing of
history, we now enjoy peace and harmony among all the people of the state, the
Christians and the Muslims now mix together and walk in one great Unity, and
all those who did their best to destroy such peace and tranquillity that Jos is
known for are now living in shame with their heads bowed down”
The governor
was then most emphatic in terms of what the future holds, calling on investors
worldwide and tourist aficionados to return home to Jos, stressing with
confidence, that the peace, the tourist attraction, the mountains/rock views
that are all over the state cannot be compared anywhere
It can be
recalled that in the days of yore, such listed potentials that the Governor listed,
are some of the things that attracted several foreigners worldwide to come and
make Jos, the Plateau State capital their home, and with the sudden return of
the new peace in the land, the Governor is optimistic that foreign investors
and tourists will in no time make Jos their preferred aboard again
