Hitherto
known and massively celebrated as the foremost home of peace and tourism in the Country as a whole, JOS in particular and Plateau State in general
has over the last decade or more suffered
untold crises and her old glory
seriously dented a severe blow-which eventually affected the external image of
the State
But this
pathetic impression may soon change for good, as a new non political, non Governmental
group, called JOSIAN Association is now giving birth to with the sole mandate
to restore the historic city to her old glory
Speaking exclusively
to CERUTTI
MEDIA GROUP in the tin city of Jos during the recently held yuletide season,
a very successful business entrepreneur, and a top executive / founding member
of JOSIAN,
Otunba Greg Winful stressed that people hearing of the beauty of Jos and
desirous to come and visit need not fear any form of religious or social crises
again, as the town is now totally back to normal

Winful, himself a proud son of the soil, who is now staging a return after
decades in Lagos, told us that “JOSIAN” HAS A MANDATE, TO REDEEM
THE OLD GLORY OF Jos as home of peace and tourism, apart from that our mandate
is to enlighten and educate the world that peace is now fully back in Jos and
people can now feel free to return"

said JOSIAN is a free body for all those born or raised in Jos, regretted that
but for the old religious crises JOS COULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE MOST ATTRACTIVE
DESTINATION FOR TOURISM IN Africa after South Africa

Mountains? Is it the weather; is it the availability of tow world class zoo? Or
is it the serenity you get that money cannot buy? I tell you apart from places
like South Africa, Namibia, Kenya or Egypt, no other place can compare to Jos,
in West Africa it is rated foremost”
The JOIANS
will be meeting every now and then to formulate strategies how their ambition
to restore Jos to her old glory of “HOME AOF PEACE & TOURISM”, the
Otunba then called on all meaningful and well being JOISAN across the world to
think of returning home , if not permanently, but at every yuletide
