Chief Dr Emmanuel-Sunny Ojeagbese, needs little or no introduction before

he released a rare paper titled: REWARD OF DOING GOD’S WILL and yours truly,

present an extract from the paper
Hear him: “In
life, no one wants to do something for nothing. It’s therefore not out of place
for the question to come to your mind: Why should I commit myself to doing God’s
will? What is in it for me?
“The simple
answer is this; our heavenly father will never ask anyone to do anything
without adequate reward. And this is despite the fact what He wants us to do it
for our own good: “I am almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I
will make My covenant between Me AND YOUI AND ULTIPLY YOU EXCEEDINGLY
“You see,
God wanted Abraham to walk before Me blameless” and His reward for Abraham’s
obedience was “And I will make My Covenant between me and you, and will multiply
you exceedingly”
“Abraham
fell on his face as God continued to talk to him saying “As for me, behold my covenant
is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. No longer shall your
name be called Abram, but your name shall be called Abraham, for I have made
you a father of many nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful and I WILL
make nations of you, and Kings shall come from you”
Dr Ojeagbese
went on to lecture that the good testimony about God is that He is not a liar. Whatever
He says. He is committed to see and can never deny Himself as Abraham case proved
it, and so if we are sure we can trust God to fulfill His premises in our lives,
what a glorious opportunity we have to do His will joyfully, exceedingly and obediently?
