A breakdown of the plum event shows that the Foremost Bank, will reward them with N750,000 ,N500,000 and N350,00 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners respectively in both the male and female categories.
The clash of titans will be among St Finbarr’s College, Akoka-Yaba, St Gregory’s College, Obalende, Ansar-Ud-Deen Secondary School, Itire and Queens College, Onike-Yaba, who have all promised not to leave any stone unturned and will all be playing for pride as prestigious schools.
St Gregory’s college will be riding into the finals after their memorable win against old rivals Western College whom they defeated by 2-1.
Now, the Gregorians will play against St. Finbarr’s College who is known for its prowess in sports, and has produced celebrated football players.
Among their products are the current coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi as well as ex-internationals like Henry Nwosu, Nathaniel Ogedegbe, Wakilu Oyenuga, the late Obe Adedeji, Emeka James and Paul Okoku .
In the female category, defending champions Queens College will play against Ansar-Ud-Deen I in a bid to successfully defend their title.
Fatimah Oyebanji of Ansar-ud-Deen Itire has 12 goals in her kitty from 4 matches will slog it out energetic Dolapo Ariori of Queens college whom her hat-trick gave her school ticket to the finals.
