Simply amazing!! Or how else can one describe the still undergoing and near completed  massive  Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s  IMPOSING  over  hundred -room Green Legacy Resort is  nothing but a masterpiece, overlooking  the much orchestrated  masterpiece  expansive Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) complex.

Though when  G.CERUTTI MEDIA GROUP visited the resort and spent the night in one of the heavenly set up, we realized that So far, majority of the suites/room are furnished and open to guests. For this egg head hotel expert to be head hunted to Nigeria simply means one thing…. The retired General wants to live nothing but a global legacy, whenever he decides to step out of the big stage

ON HIS SOJOURN AS HOTEL EXPERT...he divulged….

‘ I have been in the Hospitality Industry over 25 years and counting.

Sorry for the late response Mike have been so busy here it’s really crazy but good

I have worked for Carnival Corporation which is one of the world’s largest Luxury Cruise liners.

These ships are actually floating Hotels with everything from casinos, restaurants, shopping malls.

These liners catered up two 2500 guests per any given time per cruise in the Caribbean.

I was working as food and beverage manager for four years for them in Miami Florida USA.

 

I was also working for Kapama Game lodges in SA as Manager for one of the biggest privately owned resorts in SA.

I have also worked for the Sheraton Hotel group in SA with the opening of some of their Hotels in SA.

ON WHY THE HOTEL IS CALLED GREEN LEGACY….. Mr. Peter posited

‘ Baba(Chief Obasanjo) have never  pretended or shy over his love for color green, he loves anything green with a passion, green is his weak point, that goes a long way to tell you that, he is very passionate  and patriotic Nigeria because Nigeria stand for green’’

 

AS REGARDING WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS MEGA RESORT…Mr. Peter divulged: ‘ I can assure you that this will be the place to be, you cannot beat the serenity of  Abeokuta, this is very heavenly city, not like the very noisy  and breezy mega cities like Lagos or Abuja, this is mountain city, you want to be close to nature, then here is the place, the resort will at the end of the day boast of facilities like library, lake, fish pond, zoo,  all the old cars that Baba once used in his life time, beautiful fountains, among many other facilities that  will at the end of the day make green legacy ONE OF THE TOP tourist attraction in the continent, though not officially opened, the  patronage so far is overwhelming, the best is in front of the hotel of legacy I ca assure all and sundry

ON FINAL NOTE, IS MR PETER NOT MISSING HIS South Africa HOME?
